Linda J. Quinn
Professional Experience
Ms. Quinn has nearly 17 years experience as a consultant to energy industry clients. She has worked with a diverse client base in analyzing market trends within the energy industries to identify current and future business opportunities. She has worked with clients to develop gas supply and utilization models to assist in maximizing contract storage and pipeline capacity utilization; and, perform assessments of economic and operational data to aid in project or investment evaluations. She has also supported the project development efforts of several key clients for both new and expanded projects in the areas of market research, economic modeling, regulatory permitting and overall project coordination.
Assignments in which she has utilized these skills include:
Evaluations of natural gas supply, infrastructure and contracting issues related to power generation development opportunities for several independent power companies
Development of and bid evaluation of several requests for proposals for gas supply and transportation, energy management servives and gas sales
Lead role in coordinating federal and state permitting activities related to an LNG terminal expansion project in the Northeast US
Evaluations of natural gas infrastructure acquisition and investment opportunities for several energy companies and investment firms, both domestic and international
Preparation of a competitive analysis related to proposed LNG supplies to serve Florida for a major interstate pipeline company
Project development support for several independent storage projects related to permitting, financial modeling, lease acquisition and contract
A study of power generation needs and gas requirements in Eastern Canada in support of a major gas producer’s analysis of a potential investment in gas transmission infrastructure
A major defense contractor’s offset program in the Middle East, including the creation of an economic model for a privatization program for the state-run electric utility in Turkey
As part of a development team, the evaluation of potential investments in both foreign and domestic projects, in support of a major Northeast LDC strategic initiatives
The development of a pricing/savings model for commercial and industrial customers targeted for electric restructuring pilot programs in the Northeast
Prior to her involvement with Brant and Merrimack, Ms. Quinn worked for a northeast financial institution serving as Operations Manager-Retail Lending. While in this position, she was responsible for the direct supervision of twenty employees, and the development of operational procedures, due diligence guidelines and compliance reporting related to internal and external administration requirements for this new division. Ms. Quinn attended the University of Massachusetts – Lowell, majoring in Business Administration.
